ಹಸನಾದ  ಬಾಳ ಬಂಗಾರಿ
ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಸಾಗಲಿ  ಹರುಷದಲಿ
ಭೀತಿಯು ಇಲ್ಲದ  ಜೇನ್ಗಡಲಲಿ
ಚಿಂತಿಸುವೆಯೇಕೆ  ಜೀವದ  ಒಡತಿ,
ಈ ಬಂಧನದಲಿ  ಜೀವಕೆ   ಜೀವ  ಕೊಡುವೆನು  ಗೆಳತಿ
ಬುವಿಯೋಳು  ಇನ್ನು  ನೀನೇ  ನನ್ನೊಡತಿ
ಆವ  ಪರಿಯೊಳು  ನೋಡಿದರೂ  ನಿನ್ನ  ಮೇಲೆ  ಮನಸೈತಿ
ಮನಗಳ  ಮಾತಿಗೆ   ಮುಜುಗರವೇಕೆ ?
ದಿನಗಳು   ಉರುಳುತಿವೆ.
ಯಾರಿಗೂ  ಹೇಳವೇಕೇ?
ನಮಗೂ  ಒಂದು ಬದುಕು  ಇದೆ
ಶಮನವಾಗಲಿ  ಮನದಾ  ದುಗುಡ,  ಎಂದಿದೆ
ಈ  ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೇಳಲು  ಎನ  ಹೃದಯ  ಕಾಯುತಿದೆ.

THANKSGIVING on 25th June

Dear friends,

On 25th June 2009 at 5pm, we are going to do the THANKSGIVING function to the college lecturers and non teaching staff. Venu is Moot Court Hall of the new law college building. All the students are requested to attend without fail. Also make generous contributions to the function. We have not yet received much contributions.

Programmes:
Not much programmes. We will be welcoming the gathering and thank the lecturers and staff by giving roses. We will be distributing sweets. And we have planned to give a chart of a poem written by Rabindranath Tagore. We are giving a VISHWAMAANAVA SANDESHA book to the library.

Hello Friends, i am Chandan Kumar Aswal – the class representative of the final year class of 2008-2009 of Mahajana Law College.

In this post, i am going to give the full details about the class magazine which i am supposing to do. These are the salient features of the magazine:

• Full colour magazine
• In PDF e-format
• Both english and Kannada articles accepted
• Free download on my blog
• Also available on a CD after the payment of Rs. 100
• Photos of college, lecturers, details of students and articles of students.

How to submit your articles:

• Both kannada and English articles accepted.
• English articles to be typed in MS word or any open source word processor
• Articles to be saved in DOC format or any plaintext is accepted.
• PDF is strictly prohibited.
• Kannada articles should be typed in Baraha 6 and above fonts.
• Kannada articles can be typed directly in Baraha or MS word.
• Kannada articles also wont be accepted in PDF format
• Images/Photos in JPG or PNG format
• All the articles and photos should be sent to ckaswal-at-gmail-dot-com
• Consent of all the persons featuring in the photograph should be taken before sending the photos
• The photos will be put in the magazine only after each member in that photo consents for the publishing.

Free download or CD?

We have practical difficulties in putting the pdf online. We may in future face any legal action. And we do not wish to take any risks ANY MORE!! If you all consent for the online download, then all the students can freely download the E Magazine.

CD- to put the e magazine and courier it will incur some expenses for us. Hence we are charging Rs. 100 for the CD version.

Students database:
We are building a students database and the details will be published in the magazine. Only those students who wish to have their information published will be published. You can include your information by filling up this form which i have provided below. Please fill up these fields and email it to me.

ರಾಮದಾಸರ ನೆನಪು

(ಕಲಾಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ “ಪ್ರೊ. ರಾಮದಾಸರ ಒಂದು ನೆನಪು” ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜಿಟಿ ಜಿಟಿ ಮಳೆ, ಆ ಮಳೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯೆಯೂ ಬಂದ ಜನಸಾಗರ … ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ನೋಡಿ ಬರೆದ ಕವನ)

ಭಗವಂತ ಏನಿದು ಸೋನೆ?
ಮೇಘಕ್ಕೇನು ನೆಗಡೀನೆ!
ಗಗನಕ್ಕೆ ನಗದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಸೋನೆಯಾ ಬೇನೆ.

ತುಂತುರು ಮಳೆ ಸಾಕಾಗಿದೆ,
ಭೂತಾಯಿಯ ಒಡಲು ತುಂಬಿದೆ.
ಮುತ್ತಿನ ನೀರು ಈ ರೀತಿ ಬೇಸರ ತರಬಾರದು.

ಗುಡುಗಿಲ್ಲ, ಮಿಂಚಿಲ್ಲ,
ಮೆಡಿಯುತಾವ ಹನಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ||
ತಡಬಡಿಸುತಾವ ಕಟಕಟನೆ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳೆಲ್ಲ.

ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇಲ್ಲ,
ಈ ವಸುಧೆಗೆ ಸೂರ್ಯನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ||
ಯಾವ ಮಳೆಯ ಬಾಕಿಯೋ ಧರೆಯೊಳು ಮೆರೆಯುತಿಡೆಯಲ್ಲ.

ಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಮಳೆ ಮೇಳೈಸಿಹುದಲ್ಲಾ,
ಚಿಂತೆ ಈಗ ಮೈದಳೆಯಿತಲ್ಲ ||
ಚಿಂತನೆಗೈಯಲು ರಾಮದಾಸರೆ ಇಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲ.

ಜಗದ ಬಾಳ ಬದಲಿಸಲೊರಟ ರಾಮದಾಸರೇ,
ಜಗದ ನೊಗವ ಹೊತ್ತ ಸುಂಡಗಳ
ಅನ್ಯಾಯದ ಬಂಡೆಗಳು ಬೆನ್ಡಾಗಲಿವೆ.
ಒಂದಲ್ಲಾ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯಾ ಕಿಡಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ,
ಕೆಂಡದಾ ಸೋನೆಯಾಗಿ ಎಡೆ ಬಿಡದೆ ಜಡಿಯಲಿವೆ.

ತಂದೆ!

ಪ್ರಿಯಾ, ನನಗೆ ನೀನೆ ತಾಯಿ ತಂದೆ
ಎಲ್ಲರನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಬಂದೆ.
ಪ್ರಿಯೆ, ಹೋಗಲಿ ಬಿಡು ಈಗ ವರದಕ್ಷಿಣೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ತಂದೆ?

ನಗೆ

ನಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಬಗೆ
ಒಂದು ಬಾಯ್ಬಿಡದ ನಗೆ
ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಬಾಯಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ.

ಬಡವರ ಹೊನ್ನನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ
ಧರ್ಮವ ಮೆರೆವರ ನೋಡಯ್ಯ!
